Princely Suite
The Princely Suite lives up to its name in every respect. Starting with two entrances, of which the gallery entrance via the inner courtyard is particularly worthy of note.
The bedroom is stunning thanks to a complete French ensemble with mother-of-pearl and brass inlays. The antique furniture purchased at auction in Russia provides a dramatic contrast to the state-of-the-art electronic entertainment devices. TV, DVD, radio and CD can be found here just as they can in all other rooms.
From the bedroom you move into the stylishly appointed living area with a desk and elegant seating. The adjacent grotto-like bathroom will amaze you with its fascinating fixtures and fittings: detailed touches such as the free-standing bath tub with little feet give it a very special feel. Natural stone walls and white glazed tiles, instead of normal tiles and marble, continue the classical and functional style of decor.
Incidentally, a special design was necessary for each individual room. This meant that each room became a unique work of art. Regional workshops created special fittings with genuine handiwork. This made it possible for the door frames in the Princely Suite, as in all of the other rooms, to be reworked on the basis of one of the few remaining original examples.
